Front Lacing Corset

Do you like the feel of a corset but have difficulty adjusting the rear laces?   Perhaps you want to minimize your belly?  Maybe the Front Lacing Corset is right for you.  The shape of the Front Lacing Corset has the same gradual tapering from the upper chest to the diminished waist as that of our other models. The Front Lacing Corset can be made with a short hip or mid hip pelvic length. The front lacing design is ideal for those who want to enjoy the benefits of a custom designed corset, with the ease of front lacing.

More about the Front Lacing Corset

Most contemporary corsets are adjusted through rear laces. This is fine for those that are limber enough to reach their middle back. But those with limited flexibility due to muscle structure or health concerns will find it difficult to properly adjust a rear lacing corset. An excellent alternative is a Front Lacing Corset. The shape is identical to our rear-lacing underbust corset models. The major difference is a set of eyelets at the center front.  This allows full adjustment of the corset without the help of others. Behind the laces is a stiffened lacing protector. This will prevent the belly from protruding between the laces. The Front Lacing Corset employs a Stayed Zipper closure to allow easy entrance and egress. The Zipper is strong, and easy to operate.   At the sides of the corset, flat steel stays allow the corset to keep its shape, while tapering the ribs. At the rear of the corset, heavier-gauge steels are placed to support the back.

The Front Lacing Corset is an underbust model that is designed to be unnoticeable seen under outer clothing.   It is an excellent choice for females or males.   If you are an accomplished tightlacer, an extended pipe-stem at the waist can be included free of charge.

The Front Lacing Corset shown above is made with the standard Poly/Cotton twill. The Exterior is black calico with black satin stay coverings.

For daily wear, cotton/poly twill is suggested for the interior and exterior. Although the matte finish of the cotton/poly twill is not as showy as other fabrics, it is exceedingly durable and breathes very well.

If you plan to wear your corset under daily clothes, it would be a good idea to choose a color that is close to your skin tone. That way, the corset will not be visible under light colored shirts, blouses, and dresses. If you normally wear darker colors, your color choice is greater as the corset will not be visible.

There are other fabrics and colors available. Please visit the Fabrics and Leathers page for details.
