The Short Hip Corset Features:
- Tailored to your measurements for comfort, ease of tight lacing and health. Designed by a modern tightlacer with the modern tightlacer in mind.
- Fully lined with firm, Poly/Cotton twill for extra strength and comfort. Poly/Cotton is thin, yet very strong, durable and colorfast.
- Exterior fabric or leather available in many colors, styles and textures.
- All major corset panels are quadruple stitched with polyester thread for extra strength and structural integrity.
- Thin, yet strong twill tape is fused on the interior of the corset waist.
- Your choice of front closure: old fashioned front opening busk, or a modern stayed zipper.
- Firm underbusk to prevent painful and unhealthy excavation of upper abdominal cavity. Flattens lower abdomen and promotes proper posture.
- Flat steel boning allows firm control with ease of movement. Stays can be mounted on the exterior or interior of the corset.
- Extra-firm rear steel stays support back. Promotes proper posture while preventing undue pressure on vertebrae and kidneys.
- Oversized, two piece grommets are firmly seated between rear stays.
- The back is fully laced with strong, flat nylon laces for smooth, easy pulling.
- Lacing Protector included to protect your back from rear laces.
- Four removable garters included. For those with a natural waist of 34" and above, eight detachable garters are included.

If your natural waist is 32" to 39", please add $40 to the cost of the corset.
If your natural waist is 40" and higher, please add $50 to the cost of the corset.

If you live in a warm climate, the Short style is also available in a cooler, Summer Corset design.The Short Corset is an underbust model suited for modern tightlacers. This corset is designed to be virtually invisible under most modern clothing such as pants, shorts, dresses, blouses, and even bodysuits. After all, we tightlacer's would much rather have people see our figure, and not the garment that helps us achieve it.

Like all our corset designs, the short corset uses a stiffened underbusk, which flattens the tummy, providing a more flattering figure. The stiff underbusk is a moderately firm piece of 1" wide steel cut to the length dictated by the clients physical attributes. The underbusk prevents undue pressure over the upper abdomen. If there is too much pressure over the upper abdomen, the tightlacer may encounter heartburn, gas, constipation, and bloating. The underbusk also flattens the lower abdomen, resulting in a svelte figure that any girdle, antique or modern, cannot provide.
If you are a woman with full hips, then I recommend the Mid-Hip corset style over the Short. If you are a thin to average sized male, the Short Corset is best suited for you.
