Underbust summer short hip corset made with purple cotton/poly twill. The stays are mounted on the exterior and made with black cotton/poly twill. The front closure is a stayed zipper. If you look closly at the front rib cage section, there is a slight wrinkle. This wrinkle shows the extra allowance placed for the client's prominent costal cartilage. If this was not done, the corset would be uncomfortable, and force the ribcage up and out.
Underbust summer short hip corset made with black cotton/poly twill. The stays are mounted on the exterior made with black cotton/poly twill and accented with red cotton piping. The piping is not a stiffener or is structural. It adds a nice look and really shows off the curves. This particular corset with a 19" waist was made for an accomplished male tightlacer in Amsterdam. A very striking corset and one of my favorites to make.
